Essay: My Favourite Teacher

My favourite teacher is Mrs. Patel. She teaches us English and Social Science. She is tall and simple in appearance. She always wears neat and clean clothes.

Mrs. Patel has a very good method of teaching. She explains every lesson in very simple words. She also tells short stories to make the class interesting. She asks questions and clears our doubts.

She is strict in the classroom, but she is also kind and loving. She wants all students to study well and follow the rules. She is very patient and explains again and again.

She is always helpful and guides us in other activities. Because of her good nature, she is very popular. I like her very much because she cares for us.

Timber is used to build houses and make furniture. Paper is also made from the pulp of trees. We get many medicines from the fruits, leaves, and roots of trees. Trees are useful in curing many diseases. Birds build their nests in trees. Even animals depend on trees for their food. Trees give us cool shade. People often rest under trees during hot days. Trees make our surroundings beautiful. They keep the environment clean and purify the air. Trees attract rain clouds. Without trees, there would be less rain. They prevent soil erosion by holding the soil with their roots. Trees are our natural wealth. They give us life and support many living beings. Therefore, we must not cut down trees. Instead, we should plant more trees and protect them.
