Step 1: The Basics
  • Title: Write in the center using Capital Letters.
  • Timeline: Use only Past Tense (V + ed).
  • Voice: Avoid using "I" or "Me". Speak as a reporter.

Step 3: Sample Format
SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION

JAMNAGAR, MARCH 18: Our school organized a grand Sports Day yesterday. The event started at 8:00 AM.

The District Sports Officer was the Chief Guest. Students participated in many games like running, long jump, and Kho-Kho.

The winners received trophies. The program ended with the National Anthem. It was a joyful day for everyone.
Focus on spelling and short sentences for better marks.

Timber is used to build houses and make furniture. Paper is also made from the pulp of trees. We get many medicines from the fruits, leaves, and roots of trees. Trees are useful in curing many diseases. Birds build their nests in trees. Even animals depend on trees for their food. Trees give us cool shade. People often rest under trees during hot days. Trees make our surroundings beautiful. They keep the environment clean and purify the air. Trees attract rain clouds. Without trees, there would be less rain. They prevent soil erosion by holding the soil with their roots. Trees are our natural wealth. They give us life and support many living beings. Therefore, we must not cut down trees. Instead, we should plant more trees and protect them.
