BLOCK 1: The Headline

BLOCK 3: The Content (Body)

Our school celebrated a cultural program. The students decorated the stage. Many songs were performed. The Chief Guest liked the program. He gave prizes. Everyone was very happy.

Trick: āŠ† āŠļેāŠ•્āŠķāŠĻāŠŪાં āŠđંāŠŪેāŠķા "āŠ­ૂāŠĪāŠ•ાāŠģ" (Past Tense) āŠĻા āŠŸૂંāŠ•ા āŠĩાāŠ•્āŠŊો āŠœ āŠĩાāŠŠāŠ°āŠĩા.

1. Past Tense Formula: V + ed (Visited, Celebrated, Liked)

2. Passive Style: was/were + V3 (Prizes were given, Flag was hoisted)

3. The Flow: Intro (āŠķું āŠĨāŠŊું?) ➜ Details (āŠ•ેāŠŪ āŠĨāŠŊું?) ➜ End (āŠĻાāŠļ્āŠĪો/āŠļ્āŠĩીāŠŸ્āŠļ)

Golden Tip: āŠ°િāŠŠોāŠ°્āŠŸāŠŪાં āŠ•્āŠŊાāŠ°ેāŠŊ āŠŠāŠĢ "I" (āŠđું) āŠ…āŠĨāŠĩા "We" (āŠ…āŠŪે) āŠĻો āŠ‰āŠŠāŠŊોāŠ— āŠ•āŠ°āŠĩાāŠĻી āŠœāŠ°ૂāŠ° āŠĻāŠĨી, āŠĪ્āŠ°ીāŠœી āŠĩ્āŠŊāŠ•્āŠĪિ āŠĪāŠ°ીāŠ•ે āŠēāŠ–āŠĩું.

Timber is used to build houses and make furniture. Paper is also made from the pulp of trees. We get many medicines from the fruits, leaves, and roots of trees. Trees are useful in curing many diseases. Birds build their nests in trees. Even animals depend on trees for their food. Trees give us cool shade. People often rest under trees during hot days. Trees make our surroundings beautiful. They keep the environment clean and purify the air. Trees attract rain clouds. Without trees, there would be less rain. They prevent soil erosion by holding the soil with their roots. Trees are our natural wealth. They give us life and support many living beings. Therefore, we must not cut down trees. Instead, we should plant more trees and protect them.
